I will once again be participating in the Clarion Write-a-Thon to raise scholarships for the Clarion Writer’s Workshop.
Usually I set my goal as writing 50 short stories in the six-week write-a-thon window. This year I posted a twitter poll asking if I should do that or instead try to write a brand-new novel. The novel won, and I always follow solicited advice. It’s only polite.
Having gotten approximately a thousand form rejections for my query letters for the female biker gang in outer space rescuing a gay prince, I’m pretty sure I don’t know what people actually want to read. SO I’m asking you, my friends and followers, to pick the novel I’ll write:
I was a recipient of a scholarship to attend Clarion, and the six-week experience was transformative and likely the single greatest thing that turned me from an aspiring writer to a published writer. Help me pay it forward!
