… disappointed I can’t come up with a version of my name with the same number of syllables as “Carmen Sandiago.” Marie Vi-i-ber-ert?

AHEM. I went and did it again and said yes to a lot of stuff, so I need to figure out where I’m going this year!

January 16 I start teaching a college course -intro to composition- as an adjunct through Ashland University! Teaching has always been something of a dream of mine. Also, I’ll be teaching prison inmates. A vulnerable population! Can’t wait to read their essays. So excited!

January 19-21 I’ll be at ConFusion in Detroit

January 26-27 I’ll be at the Global Game Jam here in Cleveland

Saturday, January 27th I’ll sneak out of the Game Jam for two hours to teach a one-day class on the art and business of short stories at the Skirbal Writer’s Center at the Green Road library. Register at their site.

Saturday, February 24th, I’ll be celebrating my 50th with my twin sister at a party center in Mentor, Ohio.

Saturday, March 9 I’ll be at the Akron Book Festival

Later in the year – I applied to be on programming for DragonCon! Let’s see if I make the cut! That’s Labor Day weekend in Atlanta. And I’m also planning on going to WorldCon in Glasgow August 8-12-ish, which means I won’t do Pennsic this year, or if I do, I’ll do Peace Week.
